Dan Reeves had a successful football career both as a player and as a coach.

His coaching career spanned 23 years beginning in 1981 and continuing through 2003. He coached the Denver Broncos for 12 years from 1981 – 1992, the New York Giants for four years from 1993 –  1996 and the Atlanta Falcons for seven years from 1997 – 2003. Prior to becoming a head coach, he spent 16 years in the Dallas Cowboys organization – five as a player, three as a player/coach and eight as an assistant coach.
